How to apply for government grants using grants.gov

Grants.gov does not offer money for personal financial assistance or debt.
All discretionary grants and funding activities offered by agencies offering grant opportunities can be found on Grants.gov.

You do not have to register with Grants.gov to find grant opportunities, however, once you are ready to apply for free grants, you will need to Get Registered to take advantage of All discretionary grants offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies can be found on Grants.gov in a 3-5 business days process.

How will the grant search be made?

You may start your grant opportunity search by keyword, Funding Opportunity Number (FON) or Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number, funding Instrument Type, eligibility or Sub-agency.
